Archiving Policy

Jurnal Riset Kesehatan is committed to preserving its published content and ensuring long-term access to the scholarly record. Its archiving policy supports the protection, recovery, and continued availability of published articles in the event of technical disruption or discontinuation of publication.

Digital Preservation

The journal supports the preservation and discoverability of published articles through institutional repositories and external services, such as Indonesia OneSearch, GARUDA (Garba Rujukan Digital), and the Internet Archive, where available and applicable.

Indexing and discovery services complement the journal’s preservation arrangements but do not replace dedicated archival storage and backup procedures. Preservation copies should retain the complete published article and its associated bibliographic metadata.

Backup and Recovery

The journal’s preservation procedures provide for maintaining complete digital copies of published articles, associated metadata, and essential website content. Published articles are retained in PDF format and, where available, other supported formats, including XML.

Backup copies are maintained separately from the primary hosting environment to support recovery in the event of server failure, data loss, or other technical disruption. Restoration is prioritized to minimize interruptions to access, with recovery time depending on the nature and severity of the incident.

Author Self-Archiving

Authors may deposit all versions of their manuscripts in an institutional repository or another suitable repository of their choice, without an embargo, including:

  • Submitted version: The manuscript originally submitted to the journal before peer review.

  • Accepted version: The manuscript accepted following peer review, before journal copyediting and formatting.

  • Version of record: The final article published by the journal.

Suitable repositories may include arXiv, bioRxiv, Figshare, and Zenodo, subject to each repository’s scope and submission requirements.

Deposited versions must be clearly identified. Once the article has been published, authors should include the full citation and a link to the version of record, preferably using its DOI. Redistribution must comply with the article’s applicable license.

Continuity of Access

Jurnal Riset Kesehatan seeks to maintain the long-term availability of its published content. If the journal ceases publication, the publisher will seek to preserve access through institutional infrastructure or an appropriate archival repository, with a preservation objective of at least ten years following cessation of publication.
