Electronic Filing

Jurnal Lintas Keperawatan (JLK) is committed to ensuring that every published article is properly preserved and remains permanently accessible to readers, researchers, nursing practitioners, and the general public. This policy outlines how the journal stores and preserves published content, and how authors may archive their work in other repositories.

1. Journal Archiving and Digital Preservation

All articles published in JLK are stored electronically and preserved through the following layers of archiving:

Journal Website

All issues and articles, from the first volume to the latest edition, are available in full text on the journal's Archives page. The journal is managed using Open Journal Systems (OJS), and the server is maintained by Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang.

Internet Archive

Galley documents of published articles are archived on the Internet Archive, providing an independent, permanent copy of the journal's content outside the journal's own server.

Digital Object Identifier (DOI)

Every article is assigned a DOI through Crossref. The DOI provides a permanent identifier and a stable link to the article, ensuring that it remains discoverable even if the website address changes.

National Indexing and Repositories

Metadata and full-text articles are also available through indexing and search services such as SINTA, Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital), and Dimensions.

Internal Backups

The journal's server is backed up periodically so that articles, metadata, and editorial records can be restored in the event of technical problems.

2. Author Self-Archiving Policy

All articles in JLK are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Although the copyright of the published version is held by the journal, as stated in the Copyright Notice, this license allows authors to deposit their articles in other repositories without requesting permission from the journal and without an embargo period.

Authors may archive their articles in various places, such as:

  • Institutional repositories of the author's home institution
  • National repositories, such as Garuda or the Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang repository
  • Academic profiles, such as Google Scholar, SINTA, ORCID, ResearchGate, or Academia.edu
  • Personal or institutional websites

When archiving articles, authors are required to:

  • Include the citation of the original publication in Jurnal Lintas Keperawatan (JLK), including volume, issue number, year, and page numbers
  • Include the article's DOI link
  • State that the article is licensed under CC BY 4.0

For preprint manuscripts that are later accepted for publication in JLK, authors are encouraged to update the repository entry by adding a link to the published version.

3. Archival Records and Documentation

The journal maintains electronic records of the editorial and peer-review process in OJS, including submitted manuscripts, review reports, correspondence, and editorial decisions. These records support accountability and enable the journal to respond to questions or issues that may arise after publication. All such records are kept confidential and are not made publicly available.
