Abstrak

Cedera kepala atau Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) merupakan cedera akibat benturan yang dapat menyebabkan kerusakan struktur dan fungsi otak. Di Aceh, prevalensinya mencapai 13,3% dari seluruh kasus cedera dan menjadi salah satu penyebab utama morbiditas serta mortalitas, sehingga memerlukan penanganan cepat dan tepat di IGD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui outcome pasien cedera kepala di IGD RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin tahun 2023. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain observasional deskriptif terhadap 69 pasien menggunakan teknik total sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan outcome pasien terdiri dari meninggal (2,9%), perawatan ICU (13,0%), operasi (15,9%), rawat inap (56,5%), dan pulang (11,6%). Kesimpulannya, mayoritas pasien menjalani rawat inap, sehingga diperlukan upaya peningkatan kualitas pelayanan untuk meningkatkan outcome pasien cedera kepala
