GAMBARAN TINGKAT KEPATUHAN MINUM OBAT KELASI BESI PADA PENYANDANG THALASSEMIA

Abstract


Penyandang thalassemia transfusi kronis memerlukan terapi kelasi besi untuk mencegah komplikasi akibat penumpukan zat besi. Kepatuhan minum obat kelasi besi menjadi faktor penting dalam efektivitas terapi dan kualitas hidup pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan tingkat kepatuhan minum obat kelasi besi pada penyandang thalassemia. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel berjumlah 64 orang yang terdiri dari 35 penyandang thalassemia dari Kota Tegal dan 29 dari luar kota, yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner dan dianalisis secara univariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden memiliki tingkat kepatuhan sedang (54,7%), sementara 26,6% tergolong patuh tinggi dan 18,7% tergolong rendah. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa masih diperlukan upaya edukasi dan pendampingan berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan terapi kelasi
