ANALISIS PENGARUH PENERAPAN KURIKULUM OUTCOME-BASED EDUCATION TERHADAP KOMPETENSI PRAKTIK MAHASISWA DALAM PRAKTIKUM KEPERAWATAN KRITIS

Pendidikan kompetensi praktik klinis yang tinggi, terutama dalam pemeliharaan konteks kritis yang memerlukan ketelitian, pengambilan keputusan cepat, dan keterampilan teknis yang mumpuni. Penerapan kurikulum Outcome-Based Education (OBE) menjadi salah satu pendekatan strategi yang diyakini mampu meningkatkan kemampuan praktik siswa dengan tekanan pada hasil belajar yang terukur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh implementasi OBE terhadap kemampuan praktik mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah Keperawatan Kritis. Penelitian menggunakan desain kuasi-eksperimen dengan pendekatan one group pre-test post-test yang melibatkan 114 mahasiswa semester 6 Fakultas Keperawatan Universitas Syiah Kuala. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat penurunan nilai rata-rata dari pre-test (88,41) hingga post-test (85,57), uji Wilcoxon menghasilkan nilai signifikansi yang menunjukkan pengaruh nyata dari penerapan kurikulum OBE terhadap kemampuan praktik siswa (Z = -5,106; p = 0,000). Penurunan skor disertai peningkatan variasi nilai menunjukkan respon beragam terhadap pendekatan OBE yang dapat dipengaruhi oleh kesiapan siswa dan lingkungan pembelajaran. Temuan ini memperkuat pentingnya adaptasi kurikulum berbasis capaian dalam mendukung kesiapan siswa menghadapi tantangan melakukan pemeliharaan kritis secara profesional.
