HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN IBU TENTANG PERKEMBANGAN BAYI DENGAN PEMBERIAN STIMULASI PERKEMBANGAN BAYI USIA 6 – 9 BULAN DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS DHARMARINI KABUPATEN TEMANGGUNG TAHUN 2014

Abstract

Most of the people with low level of knowlegde, beliefe that if children never have sick, its meant that children haven’t problems with their healthiness include their delevoping and growing up. Parents must be know the  importance  to give stimulation in developing and growing up the children, cause the lower stimulation would be the problems in developing and growing up the children. Earlier survey would to do to 10 mothers, 7 one didn’t know how to given true stimulate to their children, 3 others have given good stimulate to their children.

The study aim to know how related the level of knowledge about the developing children with given stimulate  baby 6 –9 month old in Dharmarini Public Health Centre Temanggung Regency 2014.

This type of research is analitik correlational with cross sectional design. The subject obtained with propotional sampling technique, that 87 mothers that havethe baby 6 -9 month old. Statistic exam used Kendall Tau.

The result showed that a part of mothers have lower level knowledge about baby developing 6 – 9 month old7,5 percent less, the stimulation of deve-lopment in babies and 6-9 months of age category 43,7 percent less .With the degree of statistical = the p value 0.05.  Mother of a connection between the level of knowledge about the development of the baby with the stimulation of develop-ment in children aged 6-9 months .Most knowledge about the development of the mother of children aged 6-9 months less worth category 57,5 % granting stimu-lation and development on baby 6-9 months of age category 43,7 less worth %. There is a relationship between the level of knowledge about the development of the mother the baby with the provision of stimulation of development on age 6-9 baby moomonth.

There is the relationship between the level of knowledge mother about the development of the baby with the stimulation of development in children aged 6-9 months. Provide understanding to the women on the development of infants and providing the right of stimulation, and teaches mothers to monitor the development of a baby using kpsp especially through posyandu activities .
