PENGETAHUAN DAN KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL TERHADAP MANAJEMEN NYERI DI INSTALASI GAWAT DARURAT

Abstract


Pencapaian manajemen nyeri di Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD) kurang optimal. Nyeri adalah penyebab paling umum dengan persentase sebanyak 78%-86% dari pasien datang ke IGD. Pencapaian manajemen nyeri ditentukan oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal yang mampu memberdayakan faktor eksternal yang dapat mendukung individu dalam layanan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh langsung pengetahuan dan kecerdasan emosional dalam manajemen nyeri. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Dr Moewardi Surakarta. Desain Penelitian ini adalah desain observasional analitik kuantitatif cross-sectional. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2014. 30 perawat berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis). Pengumpulan data yang diperoleh melalui kuesioner dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan (⍴ = 0.451, ß = 0,146) dan kecerdasan emosional (⍴ = 0,354, ß = 0,149) secara langsung tidak mempengaruhi manajemen nyeri. Manajemen nyeri di IGD secara langsung tidak dipengaruhi oleh pengetahuan dan kecerdasan emosional perawat. Namun, ada faktor perantara lain yang mungkin akan mempengaruhinya. Peningkatan faktor internal dapat dioptimalkan dengan metode formal dan informal dan memodifikasi faktor eksternal seperti dengan menciptakan lingkungan yang nyaman
